A BREAK :: soooo need it

exhausted-runnerWell yesterday was supposed to be a 3 miler and this is supposed to be my recovery week. For Tuesdays 3 mile run I ended up doing 7 miles and for Wednesdays 5 mile run I did 6 thinking that it was supposed to be 6. Well  took yesterday as a break and got to bed early. Today is a rest day and this weekends mileage is down, six miles on Saturday and 9 miles on Sunday. Next week is a pretty substancial increase. My 3 milers turn into 4, both 6 milers turn into 7 and my long run on Sunday will be a 14 mile run. You can check out my training program here on the Hal Higdon site. I also have taken a few days off the gym and will resume that full force next week. I’m very excited to see how the little break will help me move to the next level.
