Well did a Cessna load with Eric and Mario. I had it in my head that my exit was going to suck and think negative thoughts, you get negative results. I started to turn on my exit so deployed while I still had some stability. I had lots of time, what I should have done was gotten stable again first and then thrown pilot. I looked at altimiter after deployment and I was still at 4000′. Have to do a few more of those. Landing was good, maybe 40-50′ from the peas.

Workout :: Hard core
Ok this was a super hard core workout. Did my full cardio session with my workout. Everthing was supersets. Did back (wide grip chins, seated rows), arms (dumbell curls in with ab workout, dips with abs workout), tricept machine, abs toe catches with skipping, planks and side planks with dumbell curls, elbow to knee with skipping and lunges, crunches, leg raises with dips and front plate squats. At the end of the workout just dying… I love that feeling.. Going to have to pack up the gear and head to the DZ I think. I’m thinking if I don’t get up there i’ll never get a good spot for the tent!
Workout :: n some cardio
Ok back to the gym. I really need to get my routine back. It’s somewhat difficult when you have the kids and have to run between houses etc. Anyhow I got a good workout in, arms (cable pressdowns, curls), shoulders (iso shoulder press), abs (hanging leg raises, lower abs hyper extension) and blasted the pecs doing 8 sets of dumbell press. Anyhow also hit the elliptical for 20 min and 400 calories. Felt great! Next week will be much better week. Also might try and run for a few min this weekend.
Another Wild Water Day
Well today went to Wild Water Park again with Airlie. Had a great day and I really didn’t need another day in the sun. Made sure I put on heaps of SPF and heaps and heaps. We had a great day together and you have to really appreciate them. Anyhow after our day in the sun we headed to for a bit of ice cream on Locke Street.
Little Goobers
Spent the day at Little Goobers with the girls (yes Sydney also). Was a great day, the girls loved it. They played hard all day and Sydney from time to time even joined in. For lunch we went to Boston Pizza and then made our way back to the indoor playground. Ali came by later with Jada and Aiden. Everyone had a great time.
Sulpher Springs CHOO CHOO
Well took the girls to Sulpher Springs along the Brantford Rail Trail. I’ve run aross it a few times and wanted to take the girls there. This was a quick trip and next time would be nice to also take the twins and make a picnic day of it. On the way there Sydney spotted a mother Deer and her two babies. She managed to get out of the van and snap a few photos. I love the look on the way to Sulpher Springs Syd is like booring but the deer sure changed that.
Cold Water only affects adults
Took the girls to Wild Water Works today and a pet peeve right off the bat is 8$ to park your car! Then admission to the park, where else would I be going but there so why pay 8$ to park. Also it’s a conservation area, and I went to another conservation area that falls under the same group of conservation areas and the parking was $2 cheeper. Is that because it’s less fun? Bloody hell do they know how to screw people over. Now I will not dwell on the negative, here is the positive, you can take all the food and drinks you want into the park and are not forced to feed your kids fries and pogos all day. Anyhow why is it that freezing water only affects us adults. The girls had a blast but because Airlie is only 6 I have to be stuck to her like glue and could she want to spend more time in Arctic Cove Wild Water?
Productive Day :: Merrits some Merlot
Well couple hard workouts and good eating with lots of salad, Vietnamese springrolls (yes I made them) and also some homemade veggi burgers with lentils. I love this Little Penguin Merlot. Very smooth taste and for the price ($12) where can you go wrong. I’ve really got to lay off the beer as I’m unable to run the way I would like to be running right now. Good cardio sessions but it’s not like running. Get the girls tomorrow and go visiting. Planning a whole week of activities, I will take lots of pics. Here are some of the possibilities, Riverdale Farm, Niagara Gorge, Butterfly Conservatory, Donkey Sanctuary (Guelph), a bridge in Guelph, Valens and maybe hit Value Village find some Old Tea set and have a tea party (that was actually my ideal) hahahaha.
Cardio session :: and some biceps
Bloody hell I had to quit early because of a sore left arch. I’m really getting tired of this injury crap. I was actually getting into Ellen on the tube during my elliptical session, could have done the hour easy if it wasn’t for this arch. I pushed it as far as I could and figured need to heal. Did 30 min ellliptical for about 600 calories and 3.8 miles. Was a great session! Seeing as I was done early figured I’d give the biceps a quick blasting as I didn’t work them out during my morning workout, did dumbell curls and preacher curls. Feeling good now, go hit shower, head to get that cappuccino I didn’t get the other night.
Workout :: Hard Core
Well went for what was supposed to be a good workout and some elliptical. I worked my ass off so hard during my workout that I had to pass on elliptical and I’m going to go back in a couple hours to do it. I did chest 8 sets dumbell bench press with 10 second breaks per set OUCH, and incline dumbell bench. After that made way over to shoulder press and some lateral raises after that on the machine. Into the cardio room for some ab work, toe catches 4 X 25, lunches in between each set, reverse crunches 4 sets, plank 3 sets 1 min and side planks. After that some seated rows for four sets. Over the the hanging leg raise station which has dip bars on it so I do supersets. Did 4 sets hanging leg raises with superset of dips and squat with front plate at shoulder hight (25lbs). Three sets of these supersets and you are just dying. After that over to the tricep machine to finish blasting the hell out of the tricepts after thoses dips because there was actually something left in them hahaha. Finished it off with some back extensions and voila, dead man walking. Head back to the gym after and do some biceps and hit elliptical for an hour or so.
