Well took a different run path today. Ran through Dundurn Castle out to the Royal Botanical Gardens. Ran through the Rock Garden and past the tea room. Anyhow the run started out great. I went for a leg massage first with Sarah my new RMT student. She is a studying in Burlington and needs a guinney pig so voilà I volunteered. Awesome for the legs and IT band. I will let you all know how this works out and the benifits. She will be helping me prepare for the Toronto Scotiabank marathon and you will all get to see the progress this brings. She will be there running day to also give me a pre and post run massage. After all is said and done she should be near graduation and all my fellow runners can schedule appointements with her. Thanks again Sarah! Ok back to the run. Anyhow did a 5 mile run and it took 35:08 for an average pace of 7:02 minute mile.. Really bonked on the last two but this is well under what I require for the race. I’ll set my GPS for my long run to get me through 7:25 minute miles and see how comfortable that is now. Keep you all posted.
