Did a hard workout tonight. Couldn’t get into the studio because of Yoga so did the skipping in a crappy room. I really need to change gyms. This one has gotten so disgusting and dirty. Most weights are missing pins, dumbells are all messed up and I’m not even going to talk about the changerooms can you say disease! Anyhow onto the workout. Did chest (incline and decline bench, pec dec), back (wide grip chins behind back), shoulders (shoulder press and later raises). Also for shoulders and total body including legs did the dumbell shoulder press lunge. Did ab workout (toe catches, elbow to knee, reverse weight crunch (100lbs), leg raises (15lbs) and all of these included skipping in between each set). Did arms (dumbell curls and dips) and finished with the front plate squat which works quads, shoulders and core). Anyhow was a great workout.

Cardio :: elliptical I missed you
Well after starting back running it was time to put some serious calorie burn behind me and get back on the elliptical. Get the heart burning. I can’t exert the same amount of energy yet running as I have to heal up good so needed a great session for the morale! Anyhow Pushed it for a full hour and kept it above 90 RPM for almost the entire hour. The distance covered (as indicated by the machine) was approx 7.65 miles. I burned about 1250 calories and my hear rate peaked a just under 190 at one point. I feel awesome! Finished it off with a great protein shake and now it’s lunch time.
